Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data is involved when you visit davejo.com, buy a DaveJo product or email us, and what we do with it. The short version: this site has no cookies, no analytics and no trackers, and we collect only what we need to sell you a product and support you.
1. Who is responsible
DaveJo is an independent digital products brand. DaveJo is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact: [email protected].
2. When you browse the website
- No cookies, analytics or trackers. We do not set cookies, run analytics scripts or use advertising pixels.
- Hosting. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Fonts on Arabic pages. Our Arabic pages load a font from Google Fonts. Your browser therefore connects to Google, which receives your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.
3. When you buy a product
Checkout is run by Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Estonia), our merchant of record. Creem collects your payment and billing details and processes them under Creem's privacy policy. We never see your full card details.
Creem shares order information with us so that we can deliver the product and support you: typically your name, email address, country, the product you bought, the amount paid and the order reference.
4. When you email us
If you email us, including through a "Notify me" link, we receive your email address and whatever you write. Email to our davejo.com address is routed by Cloudflare Email Routing and stored in a Google (Gmail) mailbox. If you ask to be notified about a product, we use your address only to tell you when that product is available.
5. Why we use your data
- To deliver the product you bought and provide support (performing our contract with you).
- To handle refunds, complaints and questions (contract and our legitimate interests).
- To keep records required for tax and accounting (legal obligation).
- To keep the website secure and working (legitimate interests).
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked us to.
6. Who we share it with
Only the service providers named above, each for the purpose described: Creem (checkout and payments), Cloudflare (hosting and email routing) and Google (email storage and fonts on Arabic pages). We may also disclose data if the law requires it.
7. International transfers
These providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States and countries in the European Union. They use their own safeguards for these transfers, described in their privacy policies.
8. How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. We keep emails for as long as we need them to deal with your request, and then delete them unless we have to keep them for a legal reason.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To make a request, email [email protected]. For payment data held by Creem, you can also contact Creem at [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Children
Our products are made for adults running businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
11. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
